The dried Azolla biomass is heated in the absence of oxygen in a pyrolysis reactor. The process occurs in two main stages: low temperature and medium temperature.
The assumption for the calculation is :
Azolla growth rate : 1.5 kg/m² per week
Moisture Content: 90% water, 10% dry biomass
Pyrolysis Yield: Bio-Oil with 40% of dry biomass and Biochar with 30% of dry biomass
